I was educated at United Nations International School (UNIS), New York City, U.S. and Vienna International School (VIS), Austria, where I completed High School with an IB Diploma in 1986. I graduated from Vienna University in 1993 with a Masters in Biology. I continued training to become a Psychotherapist and Counselor. I have successfully guided and consulted international students, their families and schools over the last 20+ years.
My son and daughter completed Vienna International School with an IB Diploma. They and my three bonus sons are currently pursuing their studies in the United States and Europe.
I greatly appreciate the benefits provided by an international education and third culture upbringing, and I wholeheartedly support the ideals of the International Baccalaureate Organisation.
I regard IBWISE as a means to deliver maximum support on several levels to IB students on their paths to a successful education and rounded healthy personal development in a complex world.

Our Camp Counsellors
We place our 2 highly qualified & long-standing camp counsellors on campus 24/7 during revision camp time. This ensures that IBWISE students and faculty are supported and cared for in the best possible way during their stay with us in Vienna.
All our camp counsellors hold teaching and/or counselling degrees. They all have been working within the international community and hence know exactly what is important for students with an international background of this age group and how to engage with them in a professional, caring, funny and respectful manner.
Whilst being extremely well organized and responsible about our students’ well being, they are all fantastic communicators and help our students to shine and make many friends within the IBWISE community!

Our camp counsellors are supported by a fabulous team of highly motivated, hard working university students, most of whom are IB- and IBWISE alumni. Together they are responsible for all aspects of student life on campus including free time activities during the summer programme. They make sure that your stay with us in Vienna becomes an unforgettable experience!
